Police have arrested Duane Farry, who absconded from PSNI custody in Enniskillen on Monday evening (November 27).

Officers arrested the 34-year-old, who has more than 90 criminal convictions, in the Coalisland area on Tuesday night.

He was arrested on Monday on suspicion of a number of offences including criminal damage and assault on police.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “The public are thanked for their assistance in an earlier appeal to locate this man.”

Farry had been receiving medical treatment while handcuffed when he initially went missing on Monday evening.

He was last seen in the Irvinestown Road area of Enniskillen, before turning up in Co Tyrone tonight.
