Man (40s) to appear in court over ketamine seizure worth €310k at Dublin Airport

A man is due in court after gardaí seized ‘suspected’ ketamine worth more than €300,000 at Dublin Airport.

The man, who is in his 40s, was arrested and charged as part of a garda probe into the importation of controlled drugs at the airport.

Suspected ketamine with an estimated value of €310,000 was seized during the investigation.

The arrested man is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning, Wednesday 29 November.

A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí have arrested and charged a man as part of an investigation into the importation of controlled drugs at Dublin Airport. Suspected ketamine with an estimated value of €310,000 was seized.

“The man, aged in his 40s, is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Dublin (Court 4) this morning, Wednesday, 29th November 2023.”
