Kirstie about:

Condoms "I don´t think passing out condoms ebcourages kids to have sex. And I don´t think passing out condoms necesserily makes someone wear one. You know what I mean? I think the best thing that can be done is for education (about this) to improve. it´s lack of education and nothing else." (1990)
Nuclear war "We´ve created the end of the world, and I think we should say, `Congratulations, We had great scientists who created the destruction of the planet. And now we should destroy that creation.´" (1990)
Discos "I like going to them when I´m very drunk." (1990)
Smoking and Non-Smoking Sections "I think they´re fine. But when they passed the law in Beverly Hills saying that you couldn´t smoke there, i thought it was disgusting. It´s just as harmful to me to have to sit near a woman who has three tons of perfume on. Or someone who has a huge, boisterous mouth and is drinking herself blind." (1990)
Abortion "I think it´s a fistamendment right. I´m not saying that I´m for abortion or would have one, but I think it´s a right. Bar none." (1990)
Growing up "Before I turned twenty I thought that everyone was very smart except me. After turning twenty, I thought I lived in a world of morons." (1990)
Optimism "The best creations are made out of optimism. And if you lose your optimism, you´ve lost." (1990)
movie Blind date "It was the worst film in the world. I thought I looked like an alien dropped in from outer space. I would come into a scene and who knows from where? It was a very confusing movie, but it´s rented out on videocassete all the time. I guess people like to see the random breasta." (1986)
Star Trek "I know I got the part because my eyebrows were the same shape as Spock´s. Forget whether I could act, it was my eyebrows they wanted." ;-) (1992)
about her time as interior decorator "I was doing very nicely. I drove a BMW and flew around in a private jet. But I wanted to be an actress. The problem is that people think you are an idiot if you say you want to go to Hollywood and become an actress, so I used to keep it to myself." (1992)
first date with Parker Stevenson "I saw him across a room in a restaurant and said to my friend Mimi Rogers ´For him I would die`. I asked him to dance, which didn´t make his date too happy. But I really fell for him when he told me he´d traded his motorbike in for a new Harley-Davidson. WOW, he is wild enough for me. Then I knew I had to marry him." (1992)
after the death of her mother "Whenever I do a particularly good piece of work. I wish my mother were here. Fortunately, she saw me off drugs, but she never really saw me accomplish anything. When I was filming Star Trek I kept thinking, ´Why couldn´t you see me be successful at something?´" (1992)
whom would you cast in your role in a cheers movie "Claudia Schiffer, ´cause she looks just like me" ;-) (1993)
Would you do a Cheers Reunion Show "Never. I don´t go back. my opinion about reunion shows is that they are so audiences can go, ´Gee, they look 10 years older.´ Well, duh, hello, it has been 10 years!" (1993)
What drink best describes your personality "Water, I´m always clear." (1993)
fashion sense "I´m not very good at clothes. I´m much better at furniture. Usally I wear sweatpants and sweatshirts, so when I do buy clothes I find some really hot-looking salesgirl and say, `Make me look happening.`" (You 1995)
looking forward to "Kissing somebody new in my next film. A little hidden bonus of being an actor is getting to smooth with other people, and it´s legal. In It takes two, I got to kiss Steve Gutenberg. Life is good!" (You 1995)
Radiant city "I loved the story of this woman. It was a different point of view of the ´50s than I´ve ever seen. I think it really glorified what the ´50s were to people: the hope, and everything´s new and everything´s clean an it´s like a brand new start." (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette TV Week 1996)
James Wilder "James is amazing. He´s got more energy than anyone I´ve ever met and he´s game for anything. He´s just magical. I feel I´ve found my other half, like we came from the same cell which hat split into him and me. I´m so in love with James because he reminds me of my ex-husband Francesco from 500 years ago." (Woman´s day 1998)
split from Parker Stevenson "When I get upset I cry in the bathroom. I don´t like public displays of grief." (Now 1997)
unflattering pictures in the american tabloids "These people are intentionally trying to damage you. The real damage is when you start buying it yourself. People said: ´You´re not going to work.´ and I started to believe it. John Travolta made me realise I could do whatever I wanted." (Now 1997)
saucy photos on the internet "None of those pictures on the Internet are me. It´s not even my face in some of them and on one they put my head on a 21-years-old´s body. I have to say they look great but it isn´t me." (OK! 1998)
being fat "So all they can come up with is to criticise me for being fat. I get so tired of it and I´m fed up with eveyone telling me to lose weight. Right now the only thing I want to lose is all the people telling to lose weight." (New Idea 1998)
her children "I have always put my children before myself and my personal life. That is obvious to anyone who knows me. The children com with me when I go on location making movies or doing television and I always make time during the day to be with them. Willian and Lillie are the most important people in my life and any suggestion that they are not getting the best poosible love and attention makes me very angry." (New Idea 1998)
What is the most romantic thing James has done for you "One Easter he didn´t give me anything. I moped all day. I thought, He doesn´t love me anymore; I can´t believe this is happening. I know this sounds overdramatic, but it´s the truth. I was in the bath and he was off working on a house. He kept calling, saying, ´What are you doing now?´ I could tell he was being sweet with me, but all I felt was, Fuck you. Don´t I at least get an Easter egg? Then he´d call again and say, ´Now what are you doing?´ I´d say, ´I´m taking a bath.´ I couldn´t figure out why he was too busy for me. I contemplated packing my bags and taking off for Italy at midnight, leaving a note that said, ´You don´t care about me! (by the way, I´m in Italy.)´He came home around nine o´clock and said, ´I´ll flip you for going over and getting a bottle of wine.´ We live in two houses, connected by a bridge across the third floor. I lost an he said, ´OK, you get the wine and I´ll get the glasses.´ I walked across the bridge into my bedroom and there was this beautiful chinoiserie desk that I´d seen four months earlier in an antique store. It was the most fabulous desk I´d seen in my life, but at the time he said, ´Ah you don´t need that. it´s too expensive.´ So I totally forgot about it. But there it was in my bedroom, with candles all over it, and roses thrown all over the room. He also left an amazing note saying that´s what he´d been doing all day. He had to get in to the house, hide it in a truck down the street and move it upstairs, all while I was next door moping." (Playboy 1999)
